ebc007 was a showcase of moving image work drawn from a public open call for ebc members. works were selected by ebc alongside guest artist selector laura phillips. applications were encouraged from artists whose practice dealt not only in moving image, but also with sculptural or physical constructs or staging surrounding that work. the artists selected were georgia (falmouth), jaf (london/hastings), anya (leeds), and mayra (london). for the exhibition, georgia showed a radio controlled landrover with an iphone video of some sausages cooking, anya showed a flatscreen video focussing on a gig environment, jaf exhibited a digitally animated work horses, and mayra a work that focussed on bodily movement and that was housed in a custom built cinema space. this was alongside a new 16mm three channel video work by laura about oranges. ebc007 also included an artist q&a with jaf , a raffle for a new landrover organised by georgia, and an artist talk/tour.
